I wanted to make something that lasts a little longer than words in a text or a simple card. No matter what I do, it could never fully express the love I have for you or how much you mean to me. I told you I would spend the rest of my life finding ways to show you how much I love you, so here’s another.
“Rihanner?!?!” I have so many fond memories with you that I can’t even begin to count them all. Between the Aiken trip and the Power Rangers night, it’s so difficult to choose. I might ultimately pick Power Rangers because it was so spontaneous and random. We sat on the phone and talked for hours without a care in the world.
The world was falling apart with a pandemic, and here we were, sitting on the phone ranking the Power Rangers theme songs. For that time, our problems just faded away — no worrying about sickness, school, or life. We were just two friends trying to decide who had the best soundtrack (cough Ninja Storm).
There isn’t a single person on the planet I could’ve done that with. This was one of those moments I didn’t fully understand at the time how significant it would become in my life. So small, but one of my favorites.
No matter where life takes us, I want you to know you are deeply loved. In big ways and quiet ones. I think of you every minute of the day. I wouldn’t choose anyone else to walk through life with. I love you!
